Aegis Media expands in experiential marketing with acquisition of MenCompany

Aegis Group plc ("Aegis"), the marketing communications group, today announces the acquisition of MenCompany in Italy. The value of the gross assets acquired is €0.42m
MenCompany provides strategy, consultancy and execution in events marketing and unconventional media. The company specialises in tailor made one-off events, road-shows and ambient marketing. Clients include Intel, Indesit, Philips, Samsung and L’Oréal Group.
MenCompany will become part of Aegis Media’s growing worldwide expertise in sponsorship and experiential marketing (SEM). SEM allows brands to create a dialogue or emotional connection between consumers through an association with content or an event, or through a dedicated experience allowing people to trial and enjoy the brand. Aegis Media has some 500 SEM specialists in 26 offices in 20 countries. Other recent acquisitions in the SEM sector include JJP in the Nordics and Vivid in North America.
