Aegis Media Global creates first branded content for J&J’s Clean & Clear

In March, Aegis Media Global's Johnson & Johnson team, J+Media Care, launched the first ever multi-market branded content campaign for the Clean & Clear brand. The concept, created and developed by J+Media Care and in partnership with Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and the Carat Disney team, centres around a teen soap, featuring two best friends, Celia and Chloe. It will run across seven markets in Europe and Africa.
In a first for online soaps, the duo will star in series of ten three minute video diary ‘webisodes’, supported by short promotional videos. These will see Celia and Chloe discover more about their friendships, lives and talents as they try to get a place at the premiere of Disney's forthcoming film ‘Hannah Montana The Movie' in London on April 23rd. Viewers of the webisodes will have the opportunity to win tickets to join Celia and Chloe at the premiere in London and appear in the final episode with their best friend.
The campaign will break in mid-March across seven markets, including the UK, Russia, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Hungary and South Africa. In each country, the soap will be professionally translated and dubbed. It will have a branded channel presence on leading local teen social sites, for example YouTube and Bebo in the UK and Mail.ru in Russia. Specialist digital agencies, including Aegis Media's Isobar, will launch the campaign in each market, activated by online media spend plus TV and print in some markets.
